UK: Annual GDP rises 0.6% in Q1

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Preliminary annual UK GDP data for Q1 2013 points to a 0.6% increase, up from the 0.2% rise registered in Q4 2012, National Statistics revealed on Thursday. Analysts expected 0.3% growth.

On an a quarterly basis UK GDP edged up 0.3% in Q1, compared with the 0.3% fall in Q4 and above forecasts of +0.1%.
