EMU: Annual CPI slows down to 0.5% in March, as expected

FXStreet (Łódź) - According to data released today by Eurostat, Eurozone annual inflation rose 0.5% in March, following 0.7% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis CPI climbed 0.9%, up from 0.3%, slightly below expectations of a 1% rise.

Year-over-year Core CPI edged up 0.7% in March, down from 1% in February and below consensus of +0.8%.

USD/CHF reached 0.8780 and turned around
