China: Tariffs of 25% will be implemented on 333 US products

The latest China's retaliatory tariffs on $16 billion worth of US goods will take effect on August 23, the same day as the US tariffs are set to kick in, and will be implemented on 333 products.

According to the China commerce ministry's official statement - medical equipment, steel products, crude oil, coal, diesel, cars and bicycles are among the US products subject to tariffs.

The announcement, however, had a little impact on the markets, with the US Dollar holding comfortably above the key 95.00 psychological mark.
