EUR/USD opens above 1.3730

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD opened the week trading around Friday’s closing price, above 1.3730. Reached a daily high at 1.3741 and currently trades at 1.3739, flat. Draghi’s comments during the weekend, signalling that the ECB is ready to act if necessary had no impact on the Euro.

Levels to watch for the EUR/USD

On Friday the EUR/USD broke above 1.3720/25 and rose to 1.3758. The area around 1.3720 is now the immediate support, followed by 1.3700 (February 21 low) and 1.3685 (February 1.3685). To the upside, the key short-term resistance is located around 1.3770 (February 19 high) and above at 1.3800; next attention will turn to 1.3820/30.
