Germany: Trade surplus widens less than expected in November
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - German Trade surplus widened to €17.8 billion in November from €16.7 billion in October, according to data released today by Destatis. Analysts expected the surplus to widen to €18.0 billion.
German Current Account surplus widened to €21.6 billion in November, from €18.8 billion in October.
German Exports increased 0.3%, up from the 0.2% growth, slightly below forecasts of +0.35%. Imports fell 1.1%, compared with the 3% rise and against forecasts of a 0.3% increase.
