UK: Retail Prices rose 3.3% YoY in August

FXstreet.com (Edinburgh) -Retail Prices in the UK advanced 3.3% in a year to August and 0.5% inter-month vs. forecasts at 3.2% and 0.4%, respectively.

UK: Annual CPI at 2.7% in August, as expected

On an annual basis UK CPI slid to 2.7% in August from 2.8% in July, National Statistics informed on Tuesday. This result is in line with forecasts. Month-over-month UK CPI grew 0.4%, after remaining flat and slightly below expectations of +0.5%.
