Spain: Annual inflation rises 1.8% in July

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Spanish annual inflation grew 1.8% in July, down from the 2.1% increase in June, the National Institute of Statistics reported today. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis CPI fell 0.5% in July, after increasing 0.1% in June, as expected.

Year-over-year Spanish HICP rose 1.9% in July, after growing 2.2% in June. On a monthly basis HICP dropped 01.1% in July, following a 0.1% increase in June. Both results are in line with expectations.
