US: Annual US Labor Force Participation Rate ticks down to 62.8% in August

FXStreet (Łódź) - The US Labor Force Participation Rate fell slightly to 62.8% in August from 62.9% seen in July, the US Department of Labor reported on Friday.

The US Annual Average Hourly Earnings increased by 2.1% in August, following a 2% rise in July. On a monthly basis Average Hourly Earnings climbed 0.2%, up from +0.1%, as predicted.

Average Weekly Hours remained unchanged at 34.5.

USD/JPY falls below 105.00 after NFP miss

USD/JPY fell sharply and retraced previous days gains as the dollar weakened across the board following the release of worse than expected US nonfarm payrolls data.
